Popular Actor Vows To Marry Soon Or Else…

The Nigerian model, actor and TV personality Uti Nwachukwu has written an exciting piece on Nigerians and how they perceive marriage.
uti
He talks about the pressures of marriage and how times have changed – but Nigerians have not necessarily changed with it.
He wrote:
Why you never marry Na?
Hmmmm how old is she? Why isn’t she married??
This one he is still single. Maybe he traded his marriage for wealth via JuJu
They say She was very promiscuous in her young days o! And see her she is married!! Where is my own LORRRRRD!!!! WHY ME??!!!
Abeg!
WAKE UP NIGERIANS!
My word!
I think Nigerians are the hardest to convince that times have changed!
Which is why we are finding it hard to fully develop as a country? #FACT!
The amount of importance and relevance attached to marriage in this side of the world is the main reason for DEPRESSION, FAILURE, UNFULFILLED LIVES, PRETENSE AND UNREPORTED SUICIDE! And I’m not talking about the single folks here!
Don’t get me wrong I am not anti-marriage! I am very Pro Marriage – for the right reasons!
It’s crazy shocking and alarming that till now people still succumb to pressure and just marry the next person they date!
Wooooow!
In my opinion it is better to die single than to marry and be stuck with the wrong person! Cos that itself is early death!
First of all parents need to chill!
You have lived your lives, produced and raised good children… If you did a good job at it, you should trust your kids enough to make the right adult decisions at the right time! Stop the pressure!! Some of you have forced your kids into abusive relationships just so that you can save face and Brag that ahh all my children are married ooo! So continue bragging when you have to go and fetch their bodies from a Hospital or even worse a mortuary!! Yep it’s been happening in this country. Husbands beating their wives to death…wives stabbing or shooting their husbands.
Thank God for the kind of parents and Family I have o.
Then society needs to shut the hell up!
MIND YOUR DARN BUSINESS AND FOCUS ON YOUR OWN LIVES!
The truth is…people that are happily married and busy raising a family have absolutely no time to bother about who is single, why they are single, who is married and staying married.
Most embarrassingly a married person getting involved in gossip about singles. Kai!!! Signs of a failing/unhappy marriage include- serious levels of AprokoHahaha
On a more serious note my opinion is this…expecting everyone to get and stay married is like expecting everyone to be Rich and famous!  IT WONT HAPPEN!
The earlier we accept the better for us!
Most people do not listen to their spirits and or seek God deeply. They just fling themselves into unions just so they can be ‘MARRIED’.
Times have changed!
People are not staying married! Men are getting more and more irresponsible, women are getting more successful and intolerant of men’s childish behaviors and oh they are also bold enough to explore extra-marital affairs now.
It’s crazy how me, a bachelor, would go out to a club and at 2/3am I’m tired and I want to go home and the married dudes are saying…where u de go Na???? Party never finish!!
*straight face**
REALLY???!! Who is cuddling your wife at this ungodly hour? Why is she sleeping alone for Goodness sake!
Even worse is when a married person says…Uti introduce me to one small fine girl Na .i de de lonely sometimes ….
OH WOW!!!
Very irresponsible but HEAVY STATEMENT.
Married and Lonely?? Hmmmmm
Let’s not forget that thanks to social media some equally lonely and bored housewives are snagging young fit men daily!!!! I mean the rate is alarming!
In some marriages the husbands are constantly cheating as well as the wives??!
So wait, why marry?!!!! Why??
And trust religious Fanatics to say God said a man shall leave his house and find a wife…etc. etc.
Really. DID God say a man MUST Marry?!
Is there a commandment that says THALL SHALT MARRY!
Yes Jesus said if you cannot hold yourself from fornicating then marry! But ALAS THERE is a commandment that clearly states: THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY!!!
So let’s not always pull out scriptures to support our bias.
If we do that one we go bible mortal combat. Lol
I dare say this!!…NOT EVERYONE IS SUPPOSED TO MARRY!!!!!
I don’t think people know what marriage vows are o!!! People are really take God for granted!!!!
Let’s analyze it:
FORSAKING ALL OTHERS .
TO BE FAITHFUL LOYAL and HONEST.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD (Meaning no more bikini babes. No more 6pack boys…no more random hookups! NO LIES!!!!You shall touch and sleep with only one person for the rest of your LIFE!  Hmm is okay. Lol)
IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH!! (No matter how sick your spouse gets. Even if worms are coming out of their body and they smell bad! You have to be there for them!!!!)
FOR BETTER OR WORSE! (No matter how bad things get! Even if Una quarrel and burn down the house! You stay!!)
FOR RICHER OR POORER!!! ( hehehe I won’t even touch this before some babes will say I’m swearing for them to marry a poor man…lol…but if he does get poor you stay)
And the one that freaks me out…. TILL DEATH DO US PART! ( meaning that the only thing that should separate you people is death!)

“Morning everyone. So, yesterday I visited the Hearts of Gold children’s hospice and I was devastated. It was such a sad experience. I saw so many beautiful children and couldn’t understand why they had to suffer so much. What got to me more was that through their illnesses they were still children, happy children that still wanted to play and boy did some of them crack me up. I must say I was very impressed with how neat they all looked shows they are well taken care of. The nurses and attendants were kind to them and very pleasant. It takes a heart of gold indeed to watch over those amazing souls.

It costs just N15,000 a month to sponsor a child and N180,000 a year. Salaries for staff a month is N550,000 and trust me they are angels seeing them work so closely with these kids melted my heart. We can do this together it takes a kind heart to make a difference to those wonderful kids. Saheed Balogun – “Goodluck Jonathan Treated Entertainers Like Primary School Children”

balogun
Yoruba Nollywood actor who recently got divorced has revealed in a recent interview with Vanguard, that former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan treated entertainers like school children.
Balogun said “There was a time I produced a movie, and it was pirated within days. It’s like the pirates have their own copies.
“We’re still looking to find who leaked it, but we don’t know yet. I lost over N15 million on that project. I’m still motivated to do more because it’s my dream. Soon, change will come to this country. Goodluck Jonathan treated entertainers like school-children. The last government was hosting us (Nollywood) as if they were hosting birthday parties for kids.”
“For one day, they never thought it fit to beg senators and members of the House of Representatives to pass appropriate laws on piracy”.
“I am seizing this opportunity to beg the new senators and House members who are in the committee in charge of culture to please pass relevant bills on entertainment. That is what they are elected to do, not to be shouting and jumping fence like they did the last time.”
When asked about why he refused to support a political candidate publicly, he said “I did, but I refused to follow any senator or House of Representatives members who want to go for re-election, and I did not encourage my colleagues to follow them as well. It is not a case of giving them another chance of four years, because I said the same thing four years ago, and they didn’t listen. I supported Governor Ajimobi of my home state, Oyo, because he transformed the state.”

Nollywood actress Steph Nora Okere has always hugged the limelight, not only for her talent, which is top draw, but also for her readiness to pick roles some of her colleagues wouldn’t dare. 2c574eb229177ffb150af25093106d48_L
The Imo State-born actress and newly elected Vice President, Screenwriters Guild of Nigeria, talks about her crashed marriage, her romance with Jim Iyke in a new interview with Vanguard. Excerpts:
You have been away for a while. What happened?
I have been everywhere. I only reduced the numbers of films I featured in and concentrated more on soap operas. And that was for two years. I have also been working on my talk show that would soon hit television screen.
You joined the industry as a spinster. Would you say this affected your love life?
I joined the industry when I was 21 and a graduate. Perhaps it did but I didn’t just notice. It’s possible a suitor was somewhere eying me but didn’t show up because of my profession. I was too engrossed in my career that I didn’t encounter one but there would have been someone like that.
After separating from Jim Iyke, you said you still loved him. Is it still the same till date?
(smiles) Is it possible to live my life away from Jim Iyke? He wasn’t the first person I dated in life.
(cuts in) The first in Nollywood?
So what? I want to be mute regarding this issue. He has never talked about me anywhere. We have an understanding and I don’t want to break it again.
Do you still have crush on him?
I don’t hate him.
Your marriage to Lanre Falana did not last. Why?
I was never married but I was involved in a marriage process which got truncated along the line. Marriage begins with paying the woman’s dowry, traditional and white wedding. All these did not take place. My family didn’t support marrying a man who kept one woman in one place and plans keeping another one in another place. I attend Catholic church and the marriage process in Catholic, begins with the intended couples tendering a marriage certificate issued by a court to the church. This was the main reason we were in court in the first place.
Was it cultural differences that led to the break up?
Not at all. It was based on personal conduct and irreconcilable differences . We were not living together. We had the court marriage in July and he went abroad September. Only for him to come back like a year and half later.
You said in an interview that you had no regret about your ‘’truncated marriage process.’’
That is because I am not a party to pretense. That marriage would have made me a sad woman. I have learnt not to judge a book by its cover.
Any plans of marrying again?
It has not been easy. You hardly can differentiate between a man who truly wants you as a woman because he feels for you , or one who wants to be seen with a known actress. Some men can go as far as taking a bet over you because you are a known actress. But when a good man comes around, I will settle with him. However, my Bible has not told me I can not make heaven as a single woman.
Do you feel lonely as a single woman?
How? Because I am not married? Why should I feel lonely? I have my family. I have brothers, sisters, friends and neighbours.
You seems not to be aging. What’s your secret?
I stay stress free by dealing with issues as they come.

Mercy Aigbe Attacks Fan Who Says Her Daughter Is Rotten Just Like Her

Mercy-Aigbe

The whole drama started when Mercy Aigbe revealed that her 14 year old daughter knows what a ‘blow job’ is.
The actress revealed this in Motherhood Magazine.
There was a day she came back from school and was like ‘Mummy somebody got expelled in my class for giving someone blow job’ and I just exclaimed ‘Blow what? You know what that is?’ She just laughed and said ‘Mummy, you don’t expect me not to know that.’ You know, that opened another room to educate her. As often as possible I have to talk to her about boys. Teens need s*x education. She is growing up so fast, so I need to tell her all she needs and wants to know so she doesn’t get it all mixed up,” she explained in the edition of the magazine which is on the cover of.
A fan on Instagram who goes by the name riskyrweward, called out the beautiful actress saying her daughter was just following her own example.
You are a bad example of a mother. Your daughter is only 14 years old and she already has an Instagram page and always flaunting her belly b*ttons. What exactly are you teaching her? You are a sorry excuse for a mother. Why won’t she know what a blow job is? She is obviously taking after you. Anyway what’s my own. I don’t have the energy to comment on this issue” wrote riskyreward.
Mercy Aigbe didn’t take kindly to this comment and quickly responded. “I just laugh at ur stupid comment! I wonder why most people are hypocrites! U don’t have energy to comment but u wrote an epistle! If you have energy only God knows what u’ll write. Pls mind ur own Business! My advice pls go get busy! Den u won’t come here to leave dumb comments!
